Lambton Road involved the conversion of the existing New Lambton Bowling Club into a modern, architect-designed childcare centre. The project preserved key elements of the site’s original character, including the front entry column and memorial plaques, while introducing vibrant, child-friendly design. The centre featured multiple open-plan classrooms, lunchrooms, changing areas, and purpose-designed bathrooms, alongside a fully equipped commercial-grade kitchen.

The outdoor environment included a multi-purpose play area with soft-fall surfaces and undercover play zones, supporting active and imaginative play. Conveniently located near local shops, schools, and public transport, Lambton Road provided a safe, engaging, and highly functional childcare environment. The development was recognised with the 2017 MBA Excellence in Building Awards Newcastle for Commercial Extensions, Renovations & Refurbishments Under $2 Million, highlighting its quality design and craftsmanship.
